Hi everybody,
I hope you enjoy viewing my photographs.
I live in Abilene, Texas and most of the photos you will see are in and around Central or West Texas.
I'm married to Sue, the sweetest gal in the world. One thing that makes her so sweet is the fact that she puts up with my photography hobby but I guess I could say the best thing about her is that she puts up with me in the first place.
I took my first photos with the Panasonic FZ1 camera in 2002 and have been learning ever since. I'm disabled and a very enthused amateur. Because of this I have to do most of my photography either from my pickup or very close to it. This limits me to some degree in the shots I can get but I'm always surprised at what is around the next bend in the road.
All of the photos you will see were taken with the Panasonic FZ1, FZ20 and then the Leica V-LUX 1 cameras in that order since 2002. These were all super zoom cameras.
On 11/20/07 I purchased my first DSLR camera, an Olympus E-510 10.1mp DSLR & lenses

Zuiko EC-14 teleconverter lens
I still need my V-LUX 1 camera for my Granddaughters ballet because of the shutter noise of the DSLR.
